Darby Maxwell studied at Swinburne University of Technology, where he graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media.

 

Darby specialises in cinematography, and is passionate about the use of imagery to tell a story. Darby is a master craftsman of light and movement in his work, having built up an impressive portfolio and a sizable variety of projects in his wake, including (but most certainly not limited to) films such as "Verite", "What's Your Genre?" and "Daughters"

Darby has built himself up from the ground with his camera work, having first been camera assistant on the features "Marital Problems" and "Kill Me Heal Me" - and is in the midst of writing his own ambitious project: "Guerrilla."
